Retreat Terms & Conditions

1.1 Guests must be at least 18 years of age to attend a Foundationally Nourished Retreat. Guests under 18 may be allowed to attend provided they are accompanied by a guardian 18+ years old and are approved by management.

Payment Policy

2.1 A booking at Foundationally Nourished wellness retreat is confirmed when a non-refundable deposit of $500 USD is paid, a financing option (Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm, etc) is chosen during booking, or the retreat is paid in full. If a guest decides to pay in full or choose a financing option, at least $500 is non-refundable.  

2.2 If a booking to the Rise Retreat is made less than 6 weeks in advance of the start date of the retreat, the whole/full amount is required to confirm the booking unless choosing a financing option.  If a booking is made more than three months in advance, at least a $500 non-refundable deposit is due to secure the booking and the full balance is due 6 weeks prior to the start date.

2.3 Payment must be received in full by 6 weeks prior to the retreat commencement. If the retreat commencement date is less than 6 weeks, full payment or a financing option is required or to secure the booking. Failure to pay within this timeframe results in the entire retreat booking and original deposit forfeited by the payee. 

2.4 Any promotional offers and/or any payment accommodations only apply when full payment is received two calendar months prior to the start of the retreat date. 

2.5 Bank fees incurred by transferring money are the sole responsibility of the guest.

2.6 The guest is responsible to pay for all extra services not included in the Rise Retreat booking. (i.e. extra massage, extra excursions, ice bath etc.)

2.7 By making payment of a deposit or full payment for any program to Foundationally Nourished, you are accepting Foundationally Nourished Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation Policy

Guest Cancelation Policy

3.1 If a guest cancels the booking after 6 weeks/42 days prior to the commencement of the retreat, Foundationally Nourished will not issue a cash, check or credit card refund for any reason.

3.2 Exceptions to Foundationally Nourished (retreat’s) guest cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer any credit for arriving late or departing early, missing activities or not utilizing any part of the program. By purchasing your booking to the Rise Retreat you are agreeing to these terms. 

Foundationally Nourished (Retreat) Cancellation Policy

3.3 If Foundationally Nourished cancels or changes a scheduled retreat date for any reason, excluding force majeure (see clause 3.4) you may transfer your full payment to another retreat date within a 12 month period, pending availability.  Foundationally Nourished is not responsible for any expenses incurred in preparation of the canceled retreat, i.e. airplane tickets, illness, loss of work etc.

3.4 Foundationally Nourished will not be liable for cancellation, failure of, or delay in performing its obligations under this agreement due to force majeure events (Earthquake, hurricane, tornado, flooding, volcanic activity or other natural disasters, or in the case of war, action of foreign enemies, terrorist activities, labor dispute or strike, government sanction, blockage, embargo or epidemic/pandemic) or if certain conditions present unacceptable danger to the participant.

Prices and Services

4.1 Prices and services are subject to change. The paid price includes the services as stated on the Retreat page and booking page. Any additional agreements will be communicated via written form. Foundationally Nourished reserves the right to change its prices without prior notice.

4.2 Foundationally Nourished reserves the right to change its offer or individually agreed services due to extraordinary circumstances (e.g. external forces, governmental regulations, delays of third parties, weather, etc.). If any essential contract paragraph is changed, the customer will be informed as soon as possible. The retreat schedule and inclusions can change at any time without notice. 

4.3 Foundationally Nourished reserves the right to change its location or dates due to unforeseen issues (e.g. third party delays or problems, construction, etc.) 

4.4 Foundationally Nourished reserves the right to change or amend this policy at any time. The current policy is always applicable.

Data Protection & Travel Disclaimer 

5.1 The customer agrees that she may be photographed and/or filmed during her stay and/or activities in connection with the company, and also agrees that the company may use such recordings for promotion and/or advertising purposes without any prior consent. If the customer wishes to not be photographed or photographs to be used on marketing material, they must notify Foundationally Nourished personally via email @ foundationallynourished@gmail.com prior to the planned retreat.

5.2 The Customer is responsible for transportation to and from the retreat. Foundationally Nourished will not be providing pick up or drops off from the airport but will do their best to assist in connecting attendees to arrange transportation between themselves. 

5.3 Foundationally Nourished does not offer travel insurance. If the guest would like to purchase travel insurance the guest must obtain their own personal travel insurance. We recommend getting travel insurance as Foundationally Nourished reserves the right to cancel the retreat for any reason. 

5.4 If travel insurance is purchased the guest must provide Foundationally Nourished with a copy of the full insurance details.
